MH-1 Classic Roller Bit for Core Barrel

The MH-1 roller bit is designed for core barrel drilling and hard rock foundation piling applications.

This roller bit delivers stable penetration, high wear resistance, and reliable drilling performance in medium hard to hard rock formations.

Widely used on core barrels, rotary drilling rigs, and bored pile projects, the MH-1 roller bit helps improve drilling efficiency while reducing tool wear and downtime.

The MH-1 series is engineered specifically for foundation piling and deep-hole drilling in soft to medium-hard rock formations (60–120 MPa). The MH-1 ensures a superior Rate of Penetration (ROP) while minimizing gauge wear.

The MH-1 roller bit is specially designed for core barrel drilling in hard rock formations.
Compared with traditional cutting teeth, roller bits crush rock through rolling compression, which improves penetration efficiency and reduces wear during deep foundation drilling.
Installed on core barrels, the MH-1 roller bit performs efficiently in:

  • Hard rock
  • Slightly weathered rock
  • Fractured formations
  • High compressive strength formations

The roller bit core barrel combination is widely used in bored pile and rotary drilling projects where conventional augers cannot penetrate efficiently.

Advance Features

52 Large Inserts

The cone covered with 52 pieces 14mm large inserts. The whole cone is covered without any blind point. It increases the penetration speed and working life.

Auto Angle Body

20CrNiMoA is more wear-resistant than ordinary alloy steel, ensuring that the Roller bit stays sharp under high loads.

Double Sealing

In addition to traditional sealing, we apply another CNC surface as additional sealing to prevent dust into the bearing.

Bearing Hard Alloy Apply

All the roller bearings covered by the hard alloy to apply extra hardness.

Vacuum Grease System

Pull the air out of the body, then push the high-end grease in, make sure the roller has enough grease for the whole life span.
